Customer reported that the webparts under the SMP Console>Home>Patch Management>Compliance and Remediation>Compliance Dashboard are not loading and displaying the results.
If we try from another machine's browser or even with Chrome or Firefox, it worked.
If you try again on the SMP server and use the IE F12 Dev tools and change the emulation mode to 8, 9, and also 10, the webparts loads just fine.
Issues with the Internet Explorer's patch. We checked the IE version installed, it was:
IE 11.0.9600.18314 (KB3154070), Update version 11.0.31, showed this issue.
Inclusive IE 11.0.9600.18349 (KB3160005), Update version: 11.0.32, which is the June 14, 2016 release.
Since they are not patching their server in a regular basis, we manually downloaded a most recent IE patch. In this case:
IE 11.0.9600.18376(KB3170106), Update version 11.0.33, which is the July 12, 2016 release.
We had similar issues with other previous Microsoft updates that caused certain web parts to properly function. See TECH233595 for example.
Update Internet Explorer to the most recent patch.
