Symantec Endpoint Encryption Management Server Console experiences delays for several minutes before opening up successfully.
Scenario: When an Administrator attempts to open the Symantec Endpoint Encryption Management Server Console, to perform normal operations, such as to use the SEE Help Desk utility, there may be a delay of 2-3 minutes or more before opening. This means in a shared environment, there may be a 2-3 minute delay for each user logging in to the system. Once this amount of time has gone by, the console will work just fine within that session of Windows and no further delays are observed.
There have been reports of this happening when a Proxy Server is required for normal network operations on the systems, but was not properly configured. Upon configuring the proxy server correctly, this delay should go away.
