After unenrolling a Symantec Unified Endpoint Protection (SUEP) Mac client the device count on the subscriptions page still shows a total that would include the now unenrolled Mac. Additionally the device status of that client may show an incorrect status.
In rare cases, an OS X device may stop sending its operational state to the server periodically. This can incorrectly display the device status on the Device Details page, and the device count on the Subscriptions page.
Symantec is currently investigating this issue and will update this document once a fix is available.
As a workaround, reboot the affected Mac client and it should start sending it's operation state again to release the license and display the correct status.
