To scan SharePoint Online targets with Network Discover, you must install the SharePoint Solution on the Web Front End of your SharePoint Online Dedicated service.
Before you deploy the SharePoint solution on your SharePoint Online Dedicated service, ensure that the account you are using for the deployment has Full Read access to all web applications.
If you have an earlier version of the SharePoint solution deployed to SharePoint Online Dedicated, remove that version by following this procedure:
UninstallPreviousSolution.ps1script to remove the previous version.
To deploy the SharePoint Solution on your SharePoint Online Dedicated service, follow this procedure:
Copy the SharePoint solution installer
Symantec_DLP_Solution_14.x.exe to the Installation Scripts directory on the SharePoint Online Dedicated Web Front End server. This file is located in the
DLP_Home/Symantec_DLP_14.x_Lin/Third_Party/SharePoint directory, where
DLP_Home is the name of the directory in which you unzipped the Symantec Data Loss Prevention software.
Symantec_DLP_Solution_14.x.exe file. The Symantec DataLoss Prevention solution installation program starts.
Click Next, and the installation program performs a number of preliminary checks.
If one of these checks fail, correct the problem and restart the installation program.
The installation program copies the files and deploys the solution to all Web Applications in the SharePoint farm.
To uninstall the SharePoint Solution, follow this procedure:
UninstallCurrentSolutions.ps1script to remove the SharePoint Solution.
