When the Symantec Endpoint Protection client is installed, the file "WFPUninst" is having a space after the version value in ProductVersion under file properties. In any language other than English this space is colleted as a special character :
Hence is an invalid XML format and getting replaced by the '?' value
The issue is only cosmetic and will affect only the value in the table Inv_Windows_File, ProductVersion column. Setting it to 13.1? instead of 13.1
Other than that the error can be ignored as the NSE is getting processed
Symantec development team has acknowledged the issue and working toward a resolution in future releases
