When trying to receive items from a purchase order, if the receive process takes longer than five minutes, a timeout will occur. This results in a "Symantec Management Server Error" and the receive aborts.
In the Symantec Management Platform Console:
"Symantec Management Server Error
An error has occurred that prevents the Symantec Management Console displaying correctly."
In the Notification Server logs:
"Error in ReceiveItems.aspx: unable to receive item. System.InvalidOperationException: ExecuteNonQuery requires an open and available Connection. The connection's current state is closed."
"Request timed out."

Symantec Technical Support is investigating this issue. The only workaround is to reduce the amount of items to receive at one time so that the total processing time is less than five minutes. This amount will vary from environment to environment.
