For disaster recovery purposes, the customer is requesting backup and restore procedures for the Management Server and database to be included into the Symantec Endpoint Encryption product documentation.

<p>If/when a disaster recovery procedure takes place while using the Symantec Endpoint Encryption product, customers should have access to this information via our product documentation. The customer submitting this request has requested that disaster/recovery procedures be included into the product documentation for:</p>
<p>Symantec Endpoint Encryption Full Disk<br />
Symantec Endpoint Encryption Removable Storage<br />
Symantec Endpoint Encryption Device Control<br />
Side note – although our documentation does provide steps for restoring a Symantec Endpoint Encryption Device Control Management Server, the customer has requested that these procedures be expanded upon to provide a more robust detailed listing of how to perform these actions from beginning to end, including snapshots, for: server 2003, server 2008, SQL 2005 (including all supported versions), and SQL 2008 (including all supported versions).</p>
<p>The request for these procedures to be included into our product.documentation has been submitted for review. As further information is obtained on this request, updates will be posted here. Currently there is no ETA on this request being approved/denied as of 3/4/2013.</p><br/><p>
