After upgrading Symantec Messaging Gateway (hereafter SMG) to 9.5.3, Status -> Dashboard -> System Status -> System ->Current software version on Control Center shows its version as "Unknown"; however, Administration -> Hosts -> Version -> Updates shows the version as 9.5.3.
Reparing databases nor restarting services won't fix the issue.

This cosmetic issue should be fixed automatically once another update check is run; however, should you manually correct the issue, follow the steps below:
