The AIX bootstrap fails even though the target system has sufficient disk space.
The message "Insufficient disk space to unpack Syamntec Management Agent Installer...' will be returned when manually running the bootstrap on the client.
An awk statement that returns the output of the 'df' command is returning the used space value rather than the available space value. So, this only occurs when a system has used less than 14741KB.
Run the aex-bootstrap with an additional command line parameter, as shown below, to bypass the freespace check. (Note the double-dash for this parameter.)
aex-bootstrap-aix <ns server name> --nofscheck
Any supported version of AIX
Symantec Management Agent for Unix, Linux and Mac 7.1
* This error is specific to the 7.x version of the AIX bootstrap 'aex-bootstrap-aix'. The bootstrap for other platforms, HP-UX, linux, solaris and mac are not affected.
