When configuring the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM), it reports Error 11505: Unable to connect to the database.
Error 11505: Unable to connect to the database. Make sure that you have entered the correct database parameters, and that a firewall is not blocking the connection, then try again.
Symantec Endpoint Protection does not support MS SQL Server Express version.
Use full version of MS SQL Server instead of teh compact or express edition.
