After successfully authenticating your passphrase at the PGP BootGuard screen and logging into Windows, Windows hangs and does not continue past the Welcome screen. This issue occurs when using the Single Sign-On feature of PGP WDE.
This is due to an compatibility issue with PGP Desktop 10.2 and the Dell Control Point Security Manager software. This can occur when using fingerprint authentication feature of the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) managed by the Embassy Security Center for authentication. This issue can also occur when not using the Single Sign-On feature of PGP WDE.
This issue is resolved by uninstalling the Dell Control Point Security Manager software or disabling the Single Sign-On component during the installation of PGP Desktop.
