1. One or more end users are not receiving emails.
2. Directory Integration is enabled for Recipient Validation and/or BCC Authentication functions.
3. You test one of the email addresses under: Administration > Directory Integration > Your LDAP > Recipient Validation/Authentication > Test address and the result comes back: 'The test address was not found in the directory'.
There are incorrect entries and configuration on the LDAP Server. You need to correct this addresses at the Active Directory/Domino Directory.
This is not a Symantec issue. Symantec has the feature to check the state of email ID by querying to the LDAP Server. The message: 'The test address was not found in the directory' means that email address is not properly configured.
Correct your directory till the output back from the LDAP is correct and the user can be successfully found.
