Ran the process to download packages on the Patch Remediation Center.
Created the Software Update Policy, but the package is not executing on the client.
Checked the Update Package and found it is listed as .tmp file extension.
Found that network security (i.e. firewall or proxy server) is too constricted.
Stopping the download of .exe, .msi and .msu file types.
To resolve this issue, clear the file types to download through the network security device.
However, if the environment's network configurations are too secure for this, clear the following sites for access through the network security device:
Advisory: Other update types may require different sites. Review the Log Viewer on the Management Server when downloading the package to see the URL that is being passed through the network security device to see where the process is failing.
