Issue/Introduction

Error "EPHD BIOS Translation Driver : bad resident memory " on a DELL E6410 (with or without Solid State Drive) after upgrading from 8.0.0 to 8.0.1 sp2. The error appears after entering the credentials on the SEE logon screen.

"EPHD BIOS Translation Driver:  bad resident memory provision using to 85Eah, want resident at 85AAh, available ends at 8DD1h"

Cause

Issue seems to be happening with the 8.0.1 SP2 packages only

Resolution

Issue resolved with the 8.0.1 sp3 packages
