When configuring Auto-Location Switching (ALS) rules in the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM), joining multiple "NIC Description" criteria together with OR results in only the first criteria being used in the client policy.
Instead of joining multiple "NIC Description" rules together with OR, list each description within the same rule.
This shorter way of entering the same configuration does not have the problem.
This way of entering the configuration means the client will fail to recognize NIC Description B.
The ALS conditions are configured under Clients - Policies - Manage Locations in the SEPM.
A future release of the product may correct the issue that occurs when using the longer OR-style configuration.
