Symantec Messaging Gateway was upgraded to version 9.5. After the upgrade, the System Status information on the Dashboard continues to show the older version as the Current software version. In addition, when going to Status->Hosts and selecting “Software and Services” tab the version displayed also continues show the wrong version. Wrong version might be also displayed when navigating to Administration->Version and selecting the “Updates” tab.
The database was not fully updated with information for the new version.
In many circumstances, the version will update on its own over time. You may be able to manually cause this change by clicking the update button again to force a new version check.
Symantec is aware of this issue and will update this document when a solution becomes available.
