When attempting to import a PGP public key created by PGP Command Line into PGP Desktop, the Select key(s) window displays DSS corrupt signature next to the key and import fails.
This can occur when using an older version such as PGP Desktop 8.x and it fails to recognize the signature of the key which was created using a version of PGP Command Line 9.x. To resolve this issue, update the PGP Desktop client to latest version of PGP Desktop.
Another option is to use PGP Command Line to generate a RSA-Legacy key. Note that RSA-Legacy keys do not provide the highest strength of security and are currently not available in the current version of PGP Command Line. For information on creating a RSA-Legacy key, see the PGP Command Line User's Guide.
