Task Server Handler Error when installing Deployment Solution 7.1 MR1
Error occurs when updating the altiris_deploymentsolutiontaskserverhandler_7_1_x86.msi from the MR1 release. Manual update using the MSI only reports a Error 2835.
The following error can be found in the Windows Application Event Log;
Unknown, but it is possible the Symantec Management Agent service is locking files or directories open. Thus files can not be deleted\modified.
1) Stop the Symantec Management Agent (AeXNSClient) service on the machine where the MR1 update is being installed
2) Start the Symantec Installation Manager and re-attempt to install MR1 update3) Restart the Symantec Management Agent (AeXNSClient) service
