There are various causes that would require a repair. Typically the symptoms include menus not appearing in the console, tasks or programs not being available, etc. Usually, they all involve missing data in the database.
1. Repair the solution manually:
Note: Choose the most recent version for the solution found in the above directory.
2. Run the configuration tool as follows:
"C:\Program Files\Altiris\Notification Server\bin\AeXConfig.exe" /configure "C:\Program Files\Altiris\Inventory\Config\Inventory.config"
Note: Paths to aexconfig.exe and the inventory.config file may differ depending on the installation directory on your system.
