Issue/Introduction

When executing a Easytrieve program under release 11.6, this IEC130I message occurs:
    IEC130I EZOPTBL  DD STATEMENT MISSING
    IEA995I SYMPTOM DUMP OUTPUT  101

How may this be resolved?

Environment

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6

Resolution

The EZOPTBL option file is not being picked up and therefore the IEC130I message is being generated.

There are two ways that the EZOPTBL option file may be picked up:
1. Adding the //EZOPTBL DD statement
2. Linking via the JOB06OP1 JCL and the option file DSN is then found in the EZTINI member of your CBAALOAD and no DD statement is needed. (Do a find twice on 'EZTINI' within the member).

The MOV64OPT JCL may be run as well as that job also creates the EZTINI member of your CBAALOAD which contains the DSN of the options file.
The //EZOPTBL DD statement is only needed if the option file is not linked into the EZTINI member or if you wish to override it.
