Based on FICAM definitions, VIP Access Manager allows different levels of authentication through the creation of policies that control access to applications. These policies add flexibility to the authentication method enforced for different types of users by requiring additional forms of authentication such as multi-factor authentication.
This level deals with a username, User Principle Name (UPN), or email address alone.
This level requires that the user prove their identity by authenticating with a password.
In additional to a password the user must prove their identity with another factor of authentication such as a one time password (OTP).
This level requires that a user authenticate using a physical method such as biometrics.
