Issue/Introduction

Starting from Symantec IT Management Suite version 8.5 RU2, the Symantec Management Platform and related solutions support the management of VMware ESXi 6.7.

List of supported solutions

Following are the tested and supported components and functionalities of Symantec IT Management Suite 8.5 RU2 for VMware ESXi 6.7:

• Inventory Solution (Inventory for Network Devices functionality only)
• Network Discovery
• Pluggable Protocol Architecture (PPA)
• Virtual Machine Management

Note:

ESXi 6.7 servers are handled as agentless.
