Issue/Introduction

Add Remove Programs data is not fully captured by a full Software Inventory (Software Discovery) - Installed Software data is successfully captured. The table Inv_AddRemoveProgram lacks the full data. Data is shown missing from Resource Manager, including the Software Summary and the "Licensed Programs" view.

Cause

This is a defect.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in 8.5 RU2, and in the latest cumulative point-fix rollup for 8.5 RU1, found here: INFO5299.

To work around this issue, use the report "Installed Software" found under Reports > Discovery and Inventory > Inventory > Cross-platform > Software/Applications > Software.
