Does Content Analysis send an Alert When the Base License or Other Component Expires?

Issue/Introduction

You want to know how to be alerted if your Content Analysis licenses expire.

Resolution

Prior to Content Analysis 3.0.2, there is no alert notification generated when Content Analysis licenses expire or are about to expire. Monitor appliance licenses manually on the management console GUI.

Prior to Content Analysis 3.0.2, after the license expired, Content Analysis does not scan objects. There is no grace period after the expiration.

Content Analysis 3.0.2 onwards, by default, will alert in regards to licenses expiring or are about to expire. Please see the administration guide for additional information.

Content Analysis 3.0.2 onwards, AV will continue to operate. However, you will not receive updates if your license has expired.
