Issue/Introduction

Ammyy Admin fails to connect to router when behind ProxySG or ASG.

 

Resolution

Ammyy Admin uses a set of public IP addresses as its router. These IP addresses are listed in the application under:

  1. Ammyy
  2. Settings
  3. Network
    • In the box under Routers

At the time that this article was written,m the list of IP addresses comprises the following:

  • 88.198.6.54:443,80,8080
  • 62.75.224.229:443,80,8080
  • 85.25.20.109:443,80,8080
  • 217.172.183.184:443,80,8080
  • 50.115.127.36:443,80,8080
  • 50.115.127.37:443,80,8080

  

Because these IP addresses are not normally categorized in BCWF, you must add additional policy rules to allow access.

To allow access, add the following rule to the Local Policy file and then install policy.  Go to:

  1. Configuration
  2. Policy
  3. Policy Files
