VIP account notifications aren't being received by an organization due to incorrect contact information in VIP Manager.
(Note: VIP Certificate expiry notifications are sent to the email address listed in the TECHNICAL contact field. Substituting this with a 'distribution list' email address will ensure VIP notifications have a broader reach. Account expiry notifications are sent to the email addresses listed in the CORPORATE and TECHNICAL contact field. Vital VIP notifications are emailed, as necessary, to the all 3 listed contacts.)
Symantec recommends periodically reviewing the accuracy of your organization's contact information by logging into your VIP Manager and clicking the ACCOUNT tab.
To request changes to the billing, corporate or technical* contact in VIP Manager:
- Please allow a few days while Symantec verifies the information.
- Personal email addresses are not permitted.
