Issue/Introduction

When creating a Client Auth certificate from VIP Manager, the certificate uses SHA1 encryption.

Resolution

This is a client auth certificate. The actual SSL encryption is determined by the API end-points. All end-points will use SHA-256 encyption by August 8th, 2016. Client auth certificates will migrate sometime thereafter.

This issue is currently under investigation by Symantec Corporation. Pending the outcome of the investigation, this issue may be resolved by way of a patch or hotfix in current or future revisions of the software.
