Customer created a custom dataclass. He needs to import some information for his computers from AD and populate this dataclass. When he looks the custom dataclass in the available dataclasses in AD Import Default Column Mappaings, it is not listed.
The custom dataclass needs to be associated to the Computer Resource Type.
After the custom dataclass has been created, you need to link it to Computer Resource Type:
1. Go to Settings>All Settings>Notification Server>Resource and Data Class Settings>Resource Types>Asset Types>IT>Computer
2. Under the Data Classes section, find “Add data Classes” button. Click on it
3. In the “Item Selector” dialog find your custom dataclass. Save changes.
4. Save changes again.
After that you should be able to go AD Import Default Column Mappings and find the desired dataclass.
For Users dataclasses for example, same logic but just find the "User" resource type under Settings>All Settings>Notification Server>Resource and Data Class Settings>Resource Types>Organizational Types.
