Using Symantec File Share Encryption in a Citrix XenApp environment

When users access the published Symantec Encryption Desktop application for the first time, they will be prompted to become enrolled. This is a mandatory step to gain access to the Symantec File Share Encryption feature.

Following enrollment, users can access the Symantec File Share Encryption feature by launching the published Windows Explorer application and right-clicking files and folders, or through the published Symantec Encryption Desktop application, or though the published Command Prompt.

Note: Symantec File Share Encryption does not support mapped client drives. ‘Mapped client drives’ refers to the local drives of the computer which was used to access Citrix StoreFront.
