Is there a registry key to use to test Cloud-enabled Management functionality 'outside' the network?
 
Set the following registry key to 1 and it will use the gateway even when connected to the LAN:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Altiris\Communications\Prefer Secure Gateway Connection
