Issue/Introduction

On Dec 20th, Software Downloads for VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer (Formerly Avi Networks) will be integrated with Customer Connect. Post this change, customers can access Software Downloads from the Customer Connect Portal. Software Downloads will be via a link re-directing customers to Avi portal through SSO. Customers would need to use their Customer Connect Portal credentials. The VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer product download page will be hosted here.

Step by step instructions for Software Download

1. Navigate to Products -> All Products and scroll down to the “Networking & Security” section. Click on the “VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer” “View Download Components” link

2. Click the “GO TO DOWNLOADS” button

3. Click the “DOWNLOAD NOW” button to be redirected to the Avi Pulse Portal

4. SSO Login into the Avi Pulse Portal using Customer Connect Portal credentials and navigate to the “Software” tab. Click on the specific Avi Version to be downloaded
   1. All software download assets for a single Avi Version would be listed Eg. 20.1.2

5. Navigate to the 'VMware' section and under Controller OVA
   1. Click the download icon
   2. Accept the EULA and click 'CONTINUE' to start download of the Avi Controller OVA image
   3. Note the 'Default Password' for the Avi Controller from the “Resources”
