Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
LDAP users fail to authenticate with using AD UPN (User Principal Names)

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center
VMware NSX-T Data Center 3.x

Cause

Its identified as a known issue in NSX-T 3.0.1 GA

Resolution

The resolution is to upgrade to NSX-T 3.0.2 GA which will allow to specify additional UPN suffixes that will be valid for login, in addition to the default configured domain.
