Updates to vRealize Orchestrator Dynamic Types plugin

Issue/Introduction

Version released with this article:  1.3.5

Multiple improvements have been made to the Dynamic Types plugin hosted within vRealize Orchestrator.  These improvements include:

• Improved synchronization of Dynamic Types definitions in clustered setups
• Update Type workflow execution now properly updates custom properties
• Improved locking mechanisms to allow bound actions/workflows to execute more quickly
• Compatibility fixes for vRealize Orchestrator 7.6

Recommendations:

• Install this updated plugin version if the Dynamic Types plugin is heavily used.
• Install if current Dynamic Types plugin version in use is less than 1.3.5.

Environment

VMware vRealize Orchestrator 7.6

Resolution

1. Open the Orchestrator Control Center (https://<ApplianceFQDN>:8283/vco-controlcenter)
2. Click on Manage Plug-Ins.
3. Click on Browse and select the .vmoapp file downloaded from this article, then click Install:
4. Accept EULA and click on Install.
5. The system will automatically initiate a request to restart the vco-server service. 
6. Monitor the Orchestrator Cluster Management for the service to return to a running state.
7. Validate the plugin version is updated to 1.3.5
