After rotating certificates VMware Cloud Foundation 3.7.x and above, Horizon looses connectivity to the added vCenter servers

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• VMware Horizon View looses connectivity to a vCenter Server.
• Certificates in the environment have recently be rotated/ replaced. 

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 3.7.x

Cause

As the vCenter certificate has changed, the vCenter connection with Horizon is untrusted. 

Resolution

To update the Horizon connection to trust the new certificate, follow the steps below: 

1. Log in to the  Horizon Manager (https://horizon_server/admin).
2. Navigate to View Configuration > Servers.
3. From the vCenter Servers tab, select the vCenter server and click Edit.
4. Edit vCenter Server Settings in the wizard.
5. A pop-up window will appear asking to confirm the new certificate's thumbprint. Confirm and click OK.
6. Repeat Steps 3 to 5 for any other vCenters connected.
