Issue/Introduction
VMware Virtual Printer is installed as a separate component from Fusion 11.x . If the Thin Print feature is not working, we can uninstall and reinstall the VMware Virtual Printer drivers to test the thin print functionality.
Environment
VMware Fusion 12.x VMware Fusion Pro 11.x VMware Fusion Pro 12.x VMware Fusion 11.x
Resolution
Process to Uninstall VMware Virtual Printer Driver from VMware Fusion:
Go to Control Panel in Windows.
Access " Program & Features " or Programs > Uninstall a Program.
A console opens showing all the installed programs.
Search for VMware Virtual Printer.
Highlight VMware Virtual Printer and click on Uninstall on the top on the console.
You will receive a pop up confirming if you are sure to uninstall the VMware Virtual Printer?
Select Yes
The uninstall Will run and will prompt you to restart the system for configuration changes
Select Yes to Restart the System for the changes to take effect
