Ensure the VMware Aria Operations cluster is offline before proceeding:
- Log in to the VMware Aria Operations admin UI as the local admin user.
Example: https://IP_or_FQDN/admin
Note: Replace IP_or_FQDN with actual IP or FQDN of VMware Aria Operations.
- Click Take Offline under Cluster Status.
Note: Wait for Cluster Status to show as Offline.
Procedure for re-creating the vApp properties using the vCenter UI:
- Log into the vCenter UI as an Administrator.
- Right-Click the VMware Aria Operations node VM and select Power > Shut Down Guest OS.
- Right-Click the VMware Aria Operations node VM and select Edit Settings.
- Navigate to the vApp Options tab.
- Check Enable vApp options.
- Under Authoring, expand Product and set Name to VMware Aria Operations Appliance.
- Expand IP allocation and set the IP protocol to IPv4 or IPv6 (if you are using IPv6).
- Expand OVF settings and set the OVF environment transport to VMware Tools.
- Expand Properties then click on the New button to create a new property.
- Create the property in accordance to the attached vropsvappproperties.xlsx spreadsheet.
- Click OK.
- Repeat steps 9-11 for all properties in the attached vropsvappproperties.xlsx spreadsheet.
- Expand Networking Properties and configure the correct DNS, Default Gateway, Network IP Address, and Network Netmask.
- Expand Application and check IPv6 (if you are using IPv6) and configure the correct Timezone setting.
- Click OK.
- Repeat steps 2-15 on all other affected VMware Aria Operations nodes.
- Power on the VMware Aria Operations VMs.
- Log in to VMware Aria Operations admin UI as the local admin user.

Note: Replace IP_or_FQDN with actual IP or FQDN of VMware Aria Operations.
- Click Bring Online under Cluster Status.
Note: Wait for the Cluster Status to show as Online.
