"com.vmware.vr-UUID" error when registering vSphere Replication virtual machine using VAMI

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• Registering the vSphere Replication virtual machine using VAMI fails with the error:
  
  com.vmware.vr-UUID
  
  
  
• In the /opt/vmware/hms/logs/hms.log file, you see entries similar to:

• There is an stale entry of solution user for the vSphere Replication.

VMware vSphere Replication 6.1.x

Cause

Resolution

To resolve this issue:

1. Remove all vSphere Replication solution user accounts from VC.
2. Save and register virtual machine option for both sites.
