Symptoms:
Cannot start VMware VirtualCenter Server service
In the vpxd.log file located at C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\Logs\, you see backtraces similar to:

Environment
VMware vCenter Server 5.5.x VMware vCenter Server 4.1.x VMware vCenter Server 5.0.x VMware vCenter Server 4.0.x VMware vCenter Server 5.1.x
Cause
This issue occurs because vCenter Server does not have sufficient hard disk space to be allocated for the buffer.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, create free space in vCenter Server.
