To resolve this issue, ensure that your vShield Manager is in sync with vCloud Director and vCenter Server.
To ensure that your vShield Manager is in sync with vCloud Director and vCenter Server:
- Restart the VMware vCenter Inventory Service.
- Restart the vSphere Profile-Driven Storage Service.
- Restart the VMware VirtualCenter Server service.
- Log in to vCenter Server to verify if the services are running.
- Reboot the vShield Manager server.
- Log in to vShield Manager using the user interface.
- Try to connect to vCenter Server and verify if the connection works.
- Restart the vCloud Director service using this command:
service vmware-vcd restart
- Log in to vCloud Director.
- Reconnect to vCenter Server and verify if the connection is successful.
- Right-click vCenter Server and click Refresh Storage Profile.
- Redeploy your vShield Edge Gateway.
- Redeploy the vAPPs/virtual machines.
