Issue/Introduction

In VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x we are able to export vApps as OVAs.

• How long do the links last in Cloud Director?
• What is the expiry?

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.x

Resolution

The expiry is controlled by the Transfer session timeout value.
This can be modified in general settings according to General VMware Cloud Director System Settings.

The expiration will not include the upload and export time of the vApp from vCenter to VMware Cloud Director, but rather it will include the availability of the download link (and presence of the .ova on the transfer directory) after the upload and export.
