Unable to monitor VMware Cloud Director with VCF Operations 9.x

Issue/Introduction

Unable to monitor VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x with VCF Operations 9.x.

There is no management pack available for VMware Cloud Director which is compatible with VCF Operations 9.x.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

VCF Operations 9.x

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x

Resolution

VMware Cloud Director is supported with Aria Operations 8.18.x only.

 

VCF 9.x (Operations and Automation) does NOT support VMware Cloud Director. Multiple features of VMware Cloud Director is getting merged with VCF Automation 9.x as per the product roadmap. Therefore, listed management pack for VMware Cloud Director cannot be used in VCF Operations 9.x.

 

However, management pack for VMware Cloud Director is made available to use only with Aria Operations 8.18.x but the same is not inter-operable with VCF Operations 9.x.
