The following warning message appears during the pre-upgrade check in Stage 2 of the VCSA upgrade:

Resolution
Please ensure extensions are compatible with the new vCenter Server and re-register extensions with the new vCenter Server after upgrade. Please refer to the vSphere documentation on extensions, and the upgrade and interoperability guides.

The warning is displayed because the HCX plugin used changes between VCSA 7.0 and VCSA 8.0.
Please ignore this warning, as the new HCX plugin will replace the old one automatically.
