VCF 9.0 NSX-T Edge passwords missing from VCF Ops 9.0 UI

Issue/Introduction

NSX-T edge passwords are not manageable in the VCF Ops UI or SDDC Manager UI.

NSX-T edges are not present in the SDDC Manager UI. 


Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0

Cause

To sync NSX-T edge information into VCF Ops the , "Auto generate passwords with VCF to manage Edge nodes" must be enabled during the edge deployment.

Resolution

  1. Login to the VCF Operations 9.0 UI.

  2. Select Inventory > The VCF Instance > Actions > Sync Inventory

  3. Check the, "Enable Edge cluster sync and import NSX Edge node VMs"




  4. Once the sync completes the NSX Edges will be present in VCF Ops and SDDC Manager.
