We're having trouble running Remote Engineer on our Linux Harvester. Is there helfpul instructions?
1. In order to run the Remote Engineer in Linux, you'll want to naviagate to the correct folder. With a typical installation, its usually found here:
/opt/CA/NFA/Tools/RemoteEngineer/
2. The go ahead and run the script to perform the dianostic. We recommend running this as a super users:
sudo ./RemoteEngineerCLI.sh diagnostic
*Although usually not used, additional actions available are:
checkup - Run a quick checkup.
diagnostic - Run a full diagnostic.
create-case - Create a new support case.
update-case - Update an existing support case.
update-info - Update product information on jive community page.
3. Results can be found in the /diagnostic_results/ folder.
tar -czvf NFA-care.tar.gz /opt/CA/NFA/Tools/RemoteEngineer/diagnostics_results/
4. Provide the tarball file to support for review
