Issue/Introduction
- Global Managers NSX version 4.2.1.1 LE
- Local Managers were running the standard NSX version 4.2.1.1 and they are already upgraded to 4.2.1.4
- Unable to proceed with NSX Global Manager upgrade from 4.2.1.1 LE to 4.2.1.4 and it fails with error: "Upgrade from unrestricted NSX to limited export NSX and vice versa is not supported"

Cause
- Upgrade of NSX LE version is possible only to another NSX LE version but not to a standard NSX version. For the upgrade to be successful, the upgrade of NSX FROM version and TO version should be either standard versions or LE versions
- Due to this requirement, upgrade of Global Managers from 4.2.1.1 LE version to standard NSX 4.2.1.4 is not possible
Resolution
Workaround :
The resolution requires few steps to convert the NSX managers from a LE version to a standard version. Please contact Broadcom support.
