Issue/Introduction

Looking for a user manual or documentation on how to write Java code using the Gen JMMI API that would enable Action Block code to be extracted from Gen models and converted it into readable text format.
There is file jmmijavadoc.zip installed at Gen for Windows install time (Directory "%Gen86%\Gen\jmmi").
However it is quite technical and not very user-friendly to follow for non-experts who do not have deep Java development experience.

Can more a user-friendly comprehensive JMMI manual or usage examples be provided?

Resolution

Gen Engineering does not have any additional JMMI API documentation outside what is delivered with the file jmmijavadoc.zip at Gen for Windows install time (Directory "%Gen86%\Gen\jmmi").
However there is a Gen EDGE Community page Using JMMI which contains article "Developing a Java Application using the CA Gen Studio JMMI Interface".
The screenshots are not visible in the article. However there is also an attached 53820.pdf where screenshots are visible.
The document was written for Gen 8.0, but the same information still applies for Gen 8.6.
