To work around this issue, reinstall the ESXi host or copy the "imgdb.tgz" file from the other working ESXi host.
To work around this issue, use one of these options:
- Rebuild the ESXi host.
OR
- Replace corrupted "imgdb.tgz" file with working file from other working ESX host.
- Copy the "imgdb.tgz" file from an ESX host which is in working condition and showing correct image profile.
Note : Copy the corrupted or older imgdb.tgz file in any /tmp location as a backup before remove.
- Remove the older imgdb.tgz file from /bootbank and /altbootbank location of ESXI.
- Copy the "imgdb.tgz" file from working ESXI host to non working in same location that is /bootbank and /altbootbank.
- Restart the ESXi host.
