Issue/Introduction

Symantec Endpoint Protection detects DevHome.exe as malicious Trojan.Gen.9 and quarantines the file.

Cause

This is a known defect.

Resolution

An update was made to the definitions on 9/18/2024 to resolve this issue.

On affected systems, the quarantined files need to be manually restored, or DevHome.exe reinstalled.
