Error: "The entity (com.vmware.vcloud.entity.vapp:#####-###-###-###-######) does not have a snapshot" when using Snapshot - Revert to current on a vApp

Issue/Introduction

•  If you use the "Snapshot > Revert to current" on the vApp level, where the option is not greyed out, the tasks fails with the following error:

   The entity (com.vmware.vcloud.entity.vapp:#####-###-###-###-######) does not have a snapshot.

• The vApp has snapshot taken prior the upgrade or post upgrade

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.0

Cause

This is a known issue affecting vApp level snapshot in Cloud Director 10.6.0 release.

Resolution

The issue is resolved in VMware Cloud Director 10.6.1.1 avaliable at Broadcom Downloads

Workaround

To execute the following steps:

1. select the VM in vCenter UI and Click revert snapshot.  
2. Then from Cloud Director UI Click 'ALL ACTION > Snapshot > Revert to current' on the VM
