Issue/Introduction
Beginning June 28th 2024, when user tries to request a terraform template with the default docker base image, the create is stuck in progress status and eventually fails with an 'Internal Server Error', as in the below screenshots:
Environment
Aria Automation 8.x
Cause
The default docker base image used for terraform configuration, namely projects.registry.vmware.com/vra/terraform:latest won't be available starting from June 28th, as website projects.registry.vmware.com will be shutdown on June 28th.
Resolution
The docker base image is migrated to a new location, which is at projects.packages.broadcom.com/vra/terraform:latest
To Workaround:
Go to Assembler -> Infrastructure -> Integrations, which shows the list of integrations, find the Terraform Runtime type integration, open it
Check the value of Image filed under Runtime Container Settings section, if the value is projects.registry.vmware.com/vra/terraform:latest, it needs to be changed to projects.packages.broadcom.com/vra/terraform:latest. If the value is not projects.registry.vmware.com/vra/terraform:latest then no change is required.
Additional Information
It is recommended any customer using terraform configuration feature to check the image being used by June 28th.
